The Missouri Valley Community School District is located in Missouri Valley, IA, 25 minutes north of Council Bluffs, IA and downtown Omaha, NE on Interstate 29. Nestled along the Loess Hills Scenic Byways, the historic Lincoln Highway, and the intersection of I-29 and Highway 30, Missouri Valley has a population of 3,000 residents. The Missouri Valley Community School District also includes Honey Creek, IA and the surrounding residents.  

Missouri Valley Community Schools provide educational programs for approximately 710 students in grades Preschool through 12th grade and focus on providing a safe, loving, attentive learning environment for students of all ages, backgrounds, and ability levels. The Missouri Valley staff participates in collaborative and innovative professional development with a focus on effective elements of instruction, data-driven decision-making, and developing a growth mindset. 

Missouri Valley Community Schools boast some of the best facilities in the area and provide research-based educational programming in small classroom settings for students based on individual ability levels. Academic programming includes special education, remedial, core content, honor, Career and Technical Education, STEM, and a variety of fine and performing arts courses. Additional extracurricular programming for students includes a variety of athletic and fine arts programs, clubs and student organizations, summer school, and a Department of Human Services certified daycare program that operates before and after school and on non-school days for all elementary students.
