One goal of Avenue Scholars Southwest Iowa is to guide students into financially sustaining careers with opportunity for upward mobility while enhancing the regional workforce. A second goal is to infuse the Southwest Iowa workforce. Annually, Avenue Scholars Southwest Iowa aims to add 100 job-ready individuals to the Southwest Iowa workforce in high-demand areas such as healthcare, business and communications, science-technology-engineering-math, and industrial technology and transportation. Cross Country Camp All kids grades 7th-12th will be August 1st, 2nd, and 3rd @ 7:00 am @ the track. Official practice for grades 7th-12th begins August 7th- 11th @ 7:00 am @ the track area. Good luck players and coaches! #MVPride Location: The 2023 Girls State Softball Tournament will be held for the 53rd year at Harlan and Hazel Rogers Sports Complex in Fort Dodge, IA. The address for the complex is 1628 Nelson Avenue, Fort Dodge, IA, 50501 Tickets: All spectators kindergarten and older must purchase a ticket. Children not yet in school will NOT require a ticket. Tickets are $10 each. There are no cash sales at Rogers Park. Credit/debit card readers will be available to purchase tickets on-site. Today our Middle School Staff welcomed our 2023-2024 incoming 6th graders, current 5th graders, for a Step-Up Day. They were able to watch the HS band and show choir perform, tour the building, eat lunch like a middle schooler, and have a Q&A with members of our Middle School Student Council. We are excited to welcome the 5th graders and all new students in our building next year! #MVPride

We had six season or career bests in the discus, shot put, shuttle hurdle relay, and 100 m hurdles last night. Highlight of the night was a career best throw and a win by Maya Zappia in the discus of 109-09. Great job Lady Reds!! #MVPride
